Your Excel of contacts is one drag away from a smart list.

Stop exporting from your CRM, hand-cleaning the file, importing to Mailchimp, and rebuilding the segment every time you want to email a neighborhood update. Drop the file. Pick the list name. Done — the list lives in your CRM as a tag, ready for the next blast.

The flow

Spreadsheet → smart list → MLS-targeted blast.

01

Drag in an Excel or CSV. Column mapping auto-detects.

REG reads the first sheet, detects what each column is (name / email / phone / city / state / company), and shows you a side-by-side preview before anything writes to your CRM. Adjust any auto-detection that's off, then click import. Rows without an email or phone are skipped — you see the count up front.

02

Every contact gets tagged into a smart list

You name the list (e.g. "VIP Buyers 2026"). Every imported contact gets the tag list:VIP Buyers 2026 on their CRM record. Existing contacts (matched by email or phone) keep their other tags and just add this one. New contacts get created. The list lives in REG's Smart Lists page so you can see members, total created, total updated — everything an audit needs.

03

Email Blast targets the smart list. MLS data is baked in.

Open Email Blast, pick a smart list from the dropdown, set the neighborhood / ZIP / city / statuses you want pulled from MLS, and pick a schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or manual). Every send pulls the current MLS state and emails your list with new listings, price changes, and recent closings — tailored to that audience. No copying listings into the email body. No re-importing the recipient list every month.

Why this matters

Most agents have a list. Few send to it.

The friction kills the habit. Pull the list out of the CRM, clean it in Excel, import to Mailchimp, build the email by hand, remember to update the listings each week. Three hours of work for an email that gets opened 18% of the time. Most agents stop after the second one.

REG collapses the whole chain. The list lives where the data lives. The MLS is one query away. The send is one button. The schedule keeps running. The agents who stay top-of-mind with their database are the agents who get the referral when the next neighbor asks "who should I call?" — and REG makes staying top-of-mind a 5-minute monthly habit instead of a 3-hour one.
